The mountains skipped like rams, and the little hills like lambs.

When we believe in the Law of Mind ... we shall be surprised at the results we shall receive.

Surprise Me!
An elderly couple who had been married 61 years was interviewed by the society editor of their local newspaper. “What is the secret of your happy and lengthy marriage?” they were asked.
The man turned to his wife and with a twinkle in his eye responded, “I gave her a key to happiness on the day we were married.” “That’s right,” chimed in his wife. “He told me, ‘surprise me.’” “And she’s been surprising me ever since!” he said.
How many of you take the very same route to work every day, cook the same kinds of meals over and over, watch the same TV programs week after week, and go to the same restaurant every time you eat out?
With God, all things are possible. “Even a new life?” you ask doubtfully. Yes, even a new life. The only prerequisite is a change of outlook.
Today do three things in a completely different manner. Maybe you could try one of the following as an experiment. Buy a surprise love-gift for someone close to you; drive to work through a totally unfamiliar neighborhood; or telephone someone you haven’t talked to for over five years. Break the layers of sedimentary rock that have been binding you. You’ll be surprised at the results ... the mountains will skip like rams ... and the little hills like lambs!
I know I am in control of my own world through my own thoughts.
I surprise myself by new ways of looking at things and new ways of behaving.
I know the Law of Mind produces for me whatever I order.
I break out of my rut of thinking into vast limitless horizons of newness.
I know I am supported by the “everlasting arms,” and I have no fear.
Today is my birthday!
